The first Osram mercury-free Xenon lighting also enters the new dimension of environmental protection and efficiency with the extremely energy-efficient XENARC D3, D4 and now also D8 systems. The electric arc technology generates a very clear electric arc through an electronically controlled gas discharge. This produces twice as much light as the filament of a halogen lamp. Better road lighting is decisive for driving comfort, so long night trips are more comfortable than ever. The color temperature similar to that of daylight allows for a relaxed ride. And with an average service life of up to 3,000 hours (average vehicle life), you save the cost of maintenance and lamp replacement.
